LIVING BRIDGES TRAINING PROGRAM
The Mazatec Fellowship
for Psychedelic Practitioners
A professional fellowship taught with Mazatec teachers from the Sierra Mazateca, Oaxaca. Learn directly from the tradition that has carried this knowledge for generations, and build a working bridge into your own Western practice.
In plain terms: a [TBD: N]-month professional program. You join a small cohort of experienced practitioners for [TBD: N] live online journeys with Mazatec and Western faculty, and one multi-day in-person intensive in the Netherlands where you train practically with [TBD: Mazatec teacher name]. [TBD: confirm rhythm and hours]
First cohort expected [TBD: timeframe]
A fellowship, not a training in ceremony.
We do not certify anyone in Mazatec tradition and we do not teach participants to imitate it. We teach what Mazatec teachers choose to share, and the professional capacities to bring it into Western practice with integrity.
WHY THIS FELLOWSHIP EXISTS
Western psychedelic practice adopted the molecule and left the knowledge behind.
Psilocybin is entering clinics, protocols, and licensure programs across Europe. That progress is real. But the compound arrived without the knowledge system it comes from.
The Mazatec people of the Sierra Mazateca have worked with psilocybin mushrooms across generations: how to prepare people, how to hold a session, how to read what unfolds, how to weave the experience back into family, community, and daily life. Western training programs teach almost none of this, because almost nobody in the West can.
This fellowship exists to close that gap. Not by imitating Mazatec practice, but by learning from it directly and building a bridge that holds in your own professional context.
Learn from the source, not from summaries.
The Mazatec content of this program is taught with Mazatec teachers, on their terms. [TBD: teaching mode and interpretation details]
Reciprocity built in, not bolted on.
A defined share of fellowship revenue flows directly to Mazatec-led initiatives, with Mazatec say over what is taught and how. Details below. [LAUNCH-GATE: real numbers before public]

05 - Explain the shift beyond the treatment model to colleagues, boards, and clients.
06 - Apply stewardship principles to how your clinic, practice, or program is governed.

RECIPROCITY
How this fellowship gives back
A fellowship built on Mazatec knowledge must return value to the Mazatec community. Visibly, and on terms the community shapes.
