2. Legal Context of Psilocybin Journeys

  • Psilocybin journeys facilitated by Lucid Horizons take place only in the Netherlands, where the use of psilocybin-containing truffles is legal.

  • No illegal substances are provided, administered, or promoted.

  • Clients are responsible for complying with the laws of their country of residence regarding possession, transport, and use of substances.

  • Lucid Horizons does not condone or support the illegal use of psilocybin or other substances.

3. Nature of Services

  • Lucid Horizons offers legal psilocybin journeys, one-to-one coaching, and strategic advisory. These services are educational and coaching-based.

  • They are intended to support self-awareness, growth, and personal development.

  • Participation is voluntary, and clients take full responsibility for their own choices, wellbeing, and integration.

  • No results or specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed.

4. Safety and Exclusions

All participants must complete an intake and screening process before any psilocybin journey, to assess safety and suitability.

Psilocybin experiences are not suitable for everyone. The following are common reasons participation may be excluded. This is not a complete list; suitability is always established individually during screening. Participation is generally not appropriate for individuals who:

  • Are under 18 years of age

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder

  • Have serious cardiovascular disease or other medical contraindications

  • Are currently taking medications that may interact with psilocybin (for example SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium, or tramadol)

5. Responsibility and Liability

  • Participation in all Lucid Horizons activities takes place within the client's own responsibility.

  • The liability of Lucid Horizons and Florian Lanzer for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health resulting from an intentional or negligent breach of duty, and for other damages resulting from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty, is unlimited.

  • In the case of a negligent breach of material contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance the client may regularly rely), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

  • Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

  • Clients are required to disclose relevant medical history and medications honestly. A culpable breach of this obligation may result in contributory negligence being taken into account, or may exclude claims, to the extent the damage results from it.

6. No Medical or Therapeutic Claims

  • Lucid Horizons makes no medical claims about the effectiveness of psilocybin or any other modality.

  • While scientific studies show potential benefits, participation in Lucid Horizons programmes is not medical treatment and does not replace professional healthcare.
